"The wider the range of possibilities we offer children, the more intense will be their motivations and the richer their experiences."
All children experience changes in the way they are expected to learn and behave when they start school. The focus changes from play-based, side by side learning to more independent learning, meaning that social competence and the ability to adapt to a changing environment is key.
Our teachers focus on literacy and mathematical concepts, scientific concepts that spark imagination and creativity, fine and gross motor skills, independence and self-management, listening and following instructions, social competence, negotiating and making choices, exploring and discovering, asking questions and problem solving.
Our childcare centre prioritises small class sizes to 20 children to maximise the school ready experience for our pre-school children.
